WALDORF, Md. – On Saturday, July 4, 2020, at approximately 9:30 a.m., police responded to Ourisman Subaru Dealership, 2282 Crain Highway, Waldorf, for the reported vehicle fire that was already out.
Police arrived on scene to find a 2018 Honda Fit completely destroyed by the fire. The vehicle was discovered by a dealership employees.
The owner has been identified as Shakyra Thomas. The estimated loss of vehicle is valued at $15,000.
Upon further investigation revealed, the fire occurred in the interior passenger compartment of the vehicle and was determined to be intentionally set. There were no injuries as a result of the fire.
