ST. LEONARD, Md. — A single-vehicle crash in Calvert County left a pregnant woman injured Thursday afternoon, May 7, 2026, after a vehicle struck a tree.
The crash was reported around 2:23 p.m. in the 4200 block of Williams Wharf Road in St. Leonard.
Initial reports indicated one vehicle was involved and that multiple people may have been injured. Emergency responders arriving on scene located a pregnant woman lying on the ground with what was described as an apparent ankle injury.
Emergency medical personnel evaluated the woman at the scene before transporting her to CalvertHealth Medical Center for further treatment.
The crash remains under investigation.
