At 12:34 a.m. on April 17, Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to a residence in the 900 block of Barrington Drive in Waldorf for the report of a vehicle that crashed into the house.
Investigation revealed Jacob Lemaule Burch, 22, of Waldorf was traveling east on Stone Avenue and was being chased by two other vehicles. He attempted to make a right turn onto Barrington Drive but failed to successfully negotiate the turn. He left the roadway and the vehicle crashed into the house.
A building inspector responded and determined the house had sustained extensive damage.
The driver and the occupants of the house were not injured.
