Charlotte Hall, MD – On Saturday, January 23, the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home will host a “Meet the Artists” Public Reception in the E-Wing Multipurpose Room, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., to honor all the artists participating in the current fall show. The public is invited to this event, and will have a chance to meet the artists while viewing their works on display along the E-Wing Assisted Living Dining Hallway. Light refreshments will be served.
In partnership with the Charles County Arts Alliance, this is the first art exhibit at the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home. The exhibit showcases 19 artists and 34 works of art. The show’s theme was “Maryland Landscapes” and includes works from: Sar’där Aziz, Suzanne Cassidy, William Cassidy, Fanny Cramer, Cecelia Dunay, Stuart Geisbert, III, William Gibson, Doris Hall, Bradley Johnson, Gordon Johnson, Susannah Lynch, Vicki Marckel, Julie Meisel, Nadira Nunez, Nancy Owens, Ella Radano, Lee Anne Shontere, Paula Williams, and Neil Wilmoth. Most of the artwork is available for purchase; the Security desk has a copy of the price list and artists’ biographies.

Charlotte Hall Veterans Home is Maryland’s only long-term care and assisted living facility specifically for Veterans and their eligible spouses. The Home is located at 29449 Charlotte Hall Rd, Charlotte Hall, Maryland. Hours are: Monday – Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Please follow the signs for the “State Office” entrance around back.
