Leonardtown, MD – Dr. Brewster provided a live COVID-19 update this morning at the Commissioners meeting.

Following a Public Hearing, the Commissioners of St. Mary’s County approved a supplemental Appropriation Ordinance on Tuesday, April 21, 2020.

The $3M from the FY19 unassigned fund balance will be used toward addressing COVID-19 related expenditures. Funds from the Commissioner’s Emergency Reserve will be restored, and the remaining balance directed to the COVID- 19 project.
