Prince George’s County Maryland… The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the homicide of 28 year-old James Anthony Jackson Jr. that occurred early this morning in Fort Washington, Maryland.
On April 25, 2011 at approximately 1:02 a.m., patrol officers responded to the 700 block of Cady Drive for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found Jackson Jr., of the 4700 block of Rockwood Street, Waldorf, Maryland, lying on the sidewalk suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. Detectives are working to identify the suspect(s) and establish a motive in this case.
