WALDORF, Md. โ A 62-year-old woman was rushed to a regional trauma center with a head injury after being struck by a vehicle in Waldorf in the early hours of Saturday, August 9, 2025.
Emergency crews were dispatched at approximately 1:16 a.m. to the 2700 block of Crain Highway for a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. The incident occurred in front of a hookah lounge.
First responders arrived to find the 62-year-old female victim injured. She was conscious, alert, and breathing at the scene but had sustained a head injury from the collision.
Paramedics transported the patient to Capital Region Medical Center for treatment. The Charles County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the cause of the crash. No further details were immediately available.
