UPDATE Aug. 23 at 9 a.m.

Waldorf, MD – A Charles County man was pronounced dead shortly after the motorcycle he was operating collided with a motor vehicle at an intersection Tuesday evening, Aug. 22, police reported. The Charles County Sheriff’s Office reported the crash occurred at approximately 9:48 p.m. at the Billingsley Road – St. Patrick’s Drive intersection.

Sheriff’s office spokeswoman Janelle Love told TheBayNet.com that the motorcycle—driven by Jonathan Hall, 20 of Waldorf—was traveling westbound on Billingsley when an eastbound vehicle pulled into the cycle’s path. The motorcycle struck the rear passenger side of the vehicle. Hall was ejected and landed several hundred feet away. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.

Update – 1:56am Billingsley Road is now open between Crain Highway to Silent Creek Road, also St Patricks Drive between Billingsley Road and Soldierfish St/Redhorse Ct in all directions.


Update – 10:00pm. There is one confirmed deceased on the scene and one patient  is being transported to an area Trauma Center with serious injuries.


Update – The motorcycle is reported on fire. The patient has been safely removed from the bike. 


Update – Billingsley Road is shut down between Crain Highway to Silent Creek Road, also St Patricks Drive between Billingsley Roadand Soldierfish St/Redhorse Ct in all directions until further notice due to auto accident.


White Plains Md.– Aug.22 At around 9:54pm first responders were dispatched to Billingsley Road in the area of St. Patricks Dr. for reports of a motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle with multiple patients. 

Expect delays in that area.
