Full water service was restored for the Shores of Calvert water system by midnight Wednesday, May 30.
Interim emergency repairs to the water pump station have been completed, allowing the county to bring the water production well back on line. The emergency restrictions on water usage (landscape watering, car washing and pool filling) are lifted until further notice.
The water pump station was damaged by a fallen tree limb at approximately 12:45 p.m., Tuesday, May 29.
“We are sorry for any inconvenience to our customers and thank you for your patience,” the county said in a prepared statement.
Any updates regarding changes in water supply status or possible emergency restrictions will be posted as new information becomes available.
