California, MD – St. Mary’s County’s Park Development, just off Three Notch Road North in California, continues to expand. The site, which includes several restaurants, including Cracker Barrel Country Store, will soon have a major eye care chain and an expanding urgent care franchise as part of its mix. The development is owned and managed by Park Place California LLC.
A report posted by a local business blog last month reports Pearle Vision Center and Med Express are planning to build on parcels within the complex. For several years, Pearle, a 55-year-old franchise with over 1,000 locations in over 40 countries, has had an office just north of the now-defunct Bay Centre Shopping Center.
Med Express has locations in 18 states, including Maryland. In addition to St. Mary’s County, the franchise is planning new locations in Waldorf, Clinton and Forestville.
