On February 13, at 2:26 a.m., Shelita Antoinette Battle, 34 of Bushwood, was arrested by Tpr. E. J. Page for Resisting Arrest and Assault on a Police Officer.
Battle was operating a silver Jeep Liberty on Three Notch Road when she stopped north of Millstone Landing Road in California for exceeding the posted speed limit. She was subsequently arrested for DWI/DUI. Battle was uncooperative during the traffic stop and while being placed in Tpr. Page’s vehicle, Battle assaulted Tpr. Page.
She was then taken to the Leonardtown Barracks for processing of the DWI/DUI. She was then transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where she was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
