Lexington Park, MD — A woman is charged with two counts of child neglect after an incident in Lexington Park back on August 25.
The St. Mary’s Sheriff’s Office says Brandy Lynn Bierly, 38, of Upper Marlboro, had care and custody of two children. When Bierly began throwing things around the house and yelling, the kids fled to the home of a neighbor, who called the police.
When officers arrived to the 21400 block of Hillary Court, they found the door to the home open and couldn’t find Bierly. They eventually found her sleeping and the residence in disarray.
Bierly was described in the police report as “belligerent and uncooperative.”
When taken into custody, Bierly pulled away from officer, began causing a commotion outside, and disturbing neighbors.
Bierly was charged with two counts of Neglect of Minor, Resist/Interfere with Arrest, and Disorderly Conduct. CASE# 48636-19
