On January 28, Dfc W. Watters responded to the St. John’s Pharmacy in Hollywood, for a report of prescription fraud.
Investigation revealed Christina Santoiemma aka Christina Marie Messineo, 40 of Lexington Park, attempted to pass a prescription for oxycodone at the pharmacy. The pharmacist believed the prescription to be forged. The alleged issuing doctor’s signature was compared to the doctor’s signature on file and the two did not match. The pharmacy called the doctor and confirmed that the doctor had not signed the prescription.
Messineo was arrested and charged with counterfeiting a doctor’s signature on a prescription with intent to defraud and possessing a counterfeit prescription.
