At approximately 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 27, a male driving a silver Volvo rear-ended a female driver of a red Jeep Liberty while traveling southbound on Route 5.
The driver of the Jeep was stopping for the red light at the intersection of Route 5 and Fairgrounds Road and the driver of the Volvo plowed into the back of the Jeep Liberty. The airbags were deployed in the Volvo. Leonardtown Vol. Fire Dept. responded to the scene and the female driver was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital for non-life threating injuries.
No word if any charges have been made.
