Hollywood, MD – A Calvert County woman is facing felony charges for allegedly breaking into a St. Mary’s County home Monday, Jan. 29. According to the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office, “Deputy Ball responded to the 25000 block of Briscoe Thompson Way, in Hollywood for a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, it was discovered Jennifer Frances Lee, 26 of Lusby, had pushed a window air conditioning unit out of the victim’s window, and gained access to the residence. Once inside the residence, Lee charged at the victim and was ultimately restrained until deputies arrived on the scene.
Lee has been charged with home invasion—a felony—and malicious destruction of property valued at $1,000. On Jan. 30, Lee was released from jail on $2,500 bond. A hearing on the charges is tentatively set for Feb. 27 in District Court. According to court documents, Lee is being represented by attorney Rais J. Akbar.
