On December 11, 2010 the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a stolen credit card being used to make purchases at several local businesses in Great Mills.
The investigation identified Marie Catherine Joachim, 20 of Lexington Park, as the individual who committed the thefts.
On December 29, 2010 Joachim was arrested and charged with credit card theft, receiving a stole credit card and theft.
