GREENBELT, Md. – Homicide Unit detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Monday in the unincorporated section of Greenbelt. The victim is 23-year-old Jordan Swan of Bowie. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
On July 29, 2024, at approximately 1:55 pm, officers responded to the 8500 block of Greenbelt Road for a shooting. Once on scene, they located Swan in an apartment building parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds. Swan was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify a suspect(s).
