On May 11, TFC J. Linger of the Leonardtown trooper barrack filed charges against a 15-year-old, from Mechanicsville, for Motor Vehicle Theft, Theft over $500 and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.
The charges resulted from a reported vehicle theft from Lottie Dent Elementary School on March 30.
The juvenile was found in possession of the stolen vehicle in the State of Maine.
