MECHANICSVILLE, Md. — We are receiving reports of a crash at the Maryland International Raceway(MDIR) track that has sent one to a trauma center.
At approximately 7:08 p.m. on April 23, first responders were alerted to the MDIR track off of Budds Creek Road for reports of a motorcycle wreck. It was indicated that the driver was going approximately 150 mph before crashing.
The on-site medical team rendered care for the subject before transporting them by helicopter to a nearby trauma center with serious injuries.
