20 year old St. Mary’s City resident charged with drunk driving and resisting arrest

This morning a citizen telephoned the Emergency Communications Center to report a pickup truck was operating in the Lexington Park area in a reckless manner.

At approximately 2:20 am, the vehicle was observed pulling into the parking area of a housing complex in Lexington Park. The operator was identified as Seth Thomas Houseman, 20 years old of St. Mary’s City.

After failing field sobriety tests, the driver was taken into custody for driving while impaired by alcohol. Houseman began kicking at deputies on the scene. Deputy William J. Rishel transported Houseman to the Detention Center.
