
PASADENA, Md. — A 23-year-old Pasadena woman died after being struck by a car Thursday evening, marking another tragic pedestrian fatality under investigation by Anne Arundel County Police.
Officers and emergency crews were dispatched to Catherine Avenue near 231st Street at about 6:10 p.m. on April 24, 2025, after reports that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle. Police said Victoria Lee Remmey had stepped off the sidewalk into the southbound lane when she was hit by a 2010 Nissan Altima driven by a 20-year-old man from Glen Burnie.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated fully with investigators.
Remmey was transported to the University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, where she succumbed to her injuries early Friday.
Anne Arundel County Police’s Crash Reconstruction Team continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
