BROOKLYN, Md. – In a tragic hit-and-run incident in the 300 block of Arden Road West, a 4-year-old girl lies critically injured at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
The incident took place on January 29, 2024, around 3:50 p.m. when the juvenile ran onto the road and was hit by a 2024 Volkswagen Tiguan, traveling eastbound. The driver fled the scene.
Thanks to information provided by witnesses, officers were able to locate the vehicle and identify a possible driver, a 17-year-old male from Baltimore.
The Anne Arundel County Police Department Traffic Safety Section is currently investigating the incident.
