Angela Lynne Deaton, 38

LEONARDTOWN, Md. – On May 15, 2020, Dep. Burgess responded to the 45400 block of Miramar Way in California, for the reported fraud.  Investigation determined Angela Lynne Deaton, age 38 Great Mills, had used the victim’s lost/stolen credit card to make numerous purchases.  On May 31, 2020, Dep. Burgess responded to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center in Leonardtown, and charged Deaton with two counts of Theft, Theft Scheme, and Credit Card/Steal Another’s. CASE# 30221-20

California, MD – The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the identity of the person pictured in a theft and fraud investigation. On Friday, May 15, 2020 at 9:04 am, the suspect used the victim’s credit cards to make fraudulent purchases at the California Walmart store. The victim’s wallet was stolen from a parked car at the 45400 block of Buttercup Lane in Great Mills the night before.
