At 7:40 p.m. Nov. 17, Calvert County Sheriff’s Dep. Nicholas DeFelice responded to the report of an assault in the area of Route 2 and Skinner’s Turn Road in Owings.
Upon arrival he met with a witness who advised that he observed a man jump out of a SUV and begin rolling in the roadway. The witness then called 911.
Dep. DeFelice observed the man, later identified as Alan A. Wallace, Jr., 21 of Chesapeake Beach, sitting on the side of the roadway.
Wallace was uncooperative when questioned about what had occurred. He was found to be in possession of crack cocaine, police say.
Wallace was transported to Calvert Memorial Hospital, treated for his injuries, and transported to the Calvert Detention Center. He was charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct.
