ย Update: 10:50 a.m. on Feb. 10:

Authorities have just finished the security sweep as of 10:50 a.m.,ย at Wal-Mart store with negative results. No bomb or threat of a bomb was found. The safety perimeter has been lifted and the store is expected to re-open by 11 a.m.

The investigation continues.


Update: 10:40 a.m. on Feb.10:

As of 10 a.m., authorities were still searching the Wal-Mart and the building was still evacuated. No injuries have been reported.

No word on what kind of threat was received. Police continue to investigate.

St. Mary’s County Police and Maryland State Police are investigating a bomb threat at the Wal-Mart store in California. The threat was received at 8:50 a.m. on Feb. 10.

The building has been evacuated. K-9, bomb sniffing dogss from St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office and Maryland State Police are heading to the scene.

Police are staging near the Checkers.
