On April 28, shortly after 1 p.m., rescue crews were dispatched to report of a motor vehicle accident with injuries in front of the SMECO building located at 23365 Hollywood Road in Leonardtown.
Crews from Hollywood and Leonardtown Rescue Squad along with Leonardtown Fire Department arrived on the scene of the two vehicle collision involving a Jeep and a silver sedan. The silver sedan suffered major property damage to the rear of the vehicle while the Jeep sustained minimal damage.
One patient was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
No word on the cause of the crash or if any charges were filed. More information to follow as it is released by authorities.
