At approximately 2 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10, Deputy William J. Rishel responded to the scene of an accident on St. Andrews Lane in California.
The investigation revealed that Harmony Leaih Hayes, age 20 of Glenn Burnie, was operating a vehicle on St. Andrews Lane when she struck a parked, unoccupied vehicle. While conducting the accident investigation, Deputy Rishel detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage on the breath of Ms. Hayes. Ms. Hayes failed to satisfactorily complete field sobriety tests and it was also determined that Ms. Hayes’ driver’s license was currently suspended.
Ms. Hayes was subsequently placed under arrest and charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Driving While Impaired by Alcohol, and Driving on a Suspended License & Privilege.
