On Monday, October 3, 2005 at 4:36 pm TFC Linger made contact with the victim of a domestic assault.
On contact TFC Linger observed bruising under both eyes and large bruises on her arms.
The victim advised that her boyfriend initiated an argument on Saturday over a new job she had taken. She advised that as she attempted to leave the residence he grabbed her by her hair and slammed her onto her vehicle. The boyfriend then hit her in the face with his fist. When she attempted to call the police he took her phone away.
When the boyfriend calmed down she fell asleep. In the middle of the night the boyfriend woke her up and threw her onto a table, grabbed her throat and arms and hit her in the body with his fist. He made threats against her and her family if she attempted to leave.
On Sunday he started hitting her again and then pushed her into the wall. The victim was able to get away and went to stay at a safe location.
The victim decided to contact the police on Monday because she was afraid of her boyfriend. Investigation is continuing into placing charges.
