UPDATE: 8:52 p.m. – At approximately 12:45 pm a call was placed to the 911 call center for the report of a motor vehicle accident.
According to witnesses, a Ford Escape was attempting to make a left hand turn off Indian Bridge Road onto Saint Andrews Church Road.
The driver failed to yield the right of way to a GMC Terrain, who was travelling northbound on Saint Andrews Church Road, causing the cars to collide.
One person was transported to Medstar St. Mary’s Hospital
UPDATE, 2:42 P.M.: The intersection of Md. Route 4 and Indian Bridge Road has re-opened to normal traffic flow.
