UPDATE: The woman who indicated that she was injured in the crash self-transported to the hospital following the accident.
LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — We are receiving reports of a motor vehicle crash in Three Notch Road that has left one person injured.
At approximately 12:15 p.m. on November 20, first responders were alerted to an accident on Three Notch Road, in the area of Buck Hewitt Road. Two vehicles were reportedly involved in the accident.
Upon arrival, crews located both vehicles in the roadway, with a significant amount of debris around the scene. On the scene, one female vehicle occupant indicated that her mother, another passenger, had been injured as a result of the crash and was seeking additional medical attention following the crash.
She is expected to be transported to a nearby hospital following the crash. There are no other injuries reported at this time.
Three Notch Road is expected to be partially shut down for an extended period of time, while the debris and vehicles are cleared from the road.
