During the rain, sleet and snow of Tuesday, Jan. 27, and after a day of multiple responses for many accidents because of the sudden weather, firefighters still had to respond when duty called.

At approximately 5:40 p.m. firefighters from Bay District Volunteer Fire Department responded to a reported house fire at 45525 Knockeyon Ln. in California. When they arrived, firefighters could see no involvement, but had to deploy in the inclement weather nevertheless.

After an inspection, there was nothing for firefighters to battle beyond the elements, one more time.
