Alleged Stalker Found in Woods Near Victim’s House

 St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Cpl. C. Grumbles responded to a residence in Lexington Park on March 19 for a reported protective order violation.

 Investigation revealed the suspect, John Allen Combs, Sr., 35, of Lexington Park entered upon the property of the victim after being served a Protective Order directing him to remain away from the property.

 Upon arrival of Cpl. Grumbles, Combs fled the property and was apprehended in the woods to the rear of the victim’s residence.

 Combs was also served with an open warrant charging Combs with Stalking the victim.  Combs was transported to the Detention Center pending a bond hearing before the District Court Commissioner.
