On January 23 at 8:10 p.m., officers responded to the 900 block of Stone Avenue in Waldorf for the report of a domestic-related assault.
Upon arrival, officers were told the suspect, a 32-year-old male, had access to multiple firearms and was threatening the occupants of the house. Further investigation revealed, the suspect refused to surrender and threatened to injure anyone who intervened. Based on this information, the Charles County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Services Team and Hostage Negotiators responded.
The suspect eventually surrendered without incident.
