On November 16, 2011, deputies responded to a residence in Lexington Park, Maryland, for an assault report. Investigation revealed Martika Alyssa Dandy, 21, of Lexington Park, Maryland, became involved in an argument with the victim. Dandy retrieved a knife and fled the residence. The victim feared Dandy was going to harm herself and the victim ran after Dandy. While the victim was trying to retrieve the knife, Dandy stabbed the victim in the shoulder causing injury. Deputy Foor arrested Dandy and charged her with First Degree Assault.
