On January 3, 2010 Deputy H Allen responded to the A & E Motel in Lexington Park, for a report of a fight in progress.
The victim reported being assaulted by the male occupying room 140 at the motel. The victim and a witness provided a description of the suspect but the suspect was not at the motel.
Later that evening Deputy Allen returned to the motel for a disturbance call. The suspect of the previous assault and current disturbance was identified as Thomas Oakley Burch, IV, 20 of Lexington Park. Deputy Allen made contact with Burch who had dried blood on his hands. Burch’s information was gathered to make application against him for the assault and he was told to leave the property of the A&E Motel and not to return.
A short time later Burch returned to the A&E Motel, yelling. Burch was told to stop yelling by deputies, which he refused.
Burch was arrested and charged with trespassing, disorderly conduct and second-degree assault.
