Full STEAM Ahead: Wonderful Water
This FREE program for preschool age kids will be offered this Sunday, August 9, from 1 to 4pm, reservations not required. Preschool children and their caretakers are invited to visit the artLAB at Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center for hands-on investigations and challenges! Each session will help children explore, observe, ask questions, and make predictions about the world around them as they create and play. Everyone will get a chance to investigate a variety of concepts in STEAM— science, technology, engineering, art, and math! Join us for these fun and imaginative sessions that will get your child excited about learning. Perfect for toddlers and preschoolers!

Eco-Explorations: Snails & Slugs the Slimy Truth!
Wednesday, August 19 from 10 to 11am. Included with regular admission; free for members. No registrations required – just drop in! Do you have a little Eco-explorer at home? Come along on an eco-exploration as our new staff naturalist, Hester Burch, leads youngsters and their caregivers on a hands-on exploration of the natural world of Annmarie Garden. During each eco adventure, Hester will explore something different such as birds and feathers, snails, slugs, butterflies, moths, ticks, mosquitoes, and more! Kids are also invited to bring in their own natural treasures for show & tell with Hester!

Modern Petroglyphs Drop-In Workshop for KIDS
This drop-in workshop for KIDS is being offered on Sunday, August 16, from 1 to 2pm. Registration is not required and is included with the price of admission; members free. All summer long our Artist-In-Residence, Kevin Sudeith, has been carving petroglyphs featuring local imagery, on three large boulders along our trails. From these carvings, he will make heavily embossed prints using paints and paper pulp. The artist will be demonstrating his technique and leading a causal drop-in workshop for kids. Join Kevin for an exciting and educational session, learning about stone rubbings, simple printmaking & papermaking. All children must be accompanied by an adult – just drop in!
