Show the beauty of Waldorf during the autumn season by entering your photo in the 2014 “Autumn Colors of Waldorf: With Pride, We Prosper” photo contest. Photo entries will be accepted starting Monday, Sept.22. To enter the contest, visit www.CharlesCountyMD.gov/autumncolors and upload your photo for consideration. One winner will be selected in each of the three categories: Residential, Business, and Open Space/Recreational Area. Each winner will receive a gift certificate to a local nursery.
The contest runs from Monday, Sept. 22 through Saturday, Nov. 15. Citizens are encouraged to capture images showing places in Waldorf, Md. with an autumn theme. One entry per person. Entries must be submitted by Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014, at 11:59 p.m. EST. Official contest rules will be available online at www.charlescountymd.gov.
Commissioner Vice President Reuben B. Collins, II (District 3) said, “The Autumn Colors of Waldorf photo contest is a continuing segment of the Waldorf Beautification Project. Residents of our county are aware of the importance the hub of Waldorf has in our past and our future. Join together to make Waldorf the best it can be so it will benefit all of Charles County.”
