SEVERN, Md. — A Baltimore man was arrested Tuesday afternoon after Anne Arundel County police officers found suspected drugs during a traffic stop.

The incident occurred around 2:40 p.m. at the intersection of Pioneer Drive and Reece Road, where an officer pulled over a red Chrysler 300. A subsequent search of the vehicle, based on probable cause, led to the discovery of 80 pills of suspected Ecstasy, approximately 16 vials of suspected cocaine, and 15 vials of suspected marijuana.

The driver, identified as Larry Joseph Mason, 40, of Baltimore, was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance not classified as cannabis and two counts of possession with intent to distribute.

Mason is being held without bond.
