Charles County Sheriff’s detectives arrested Keishon Lamar Bethea, 25 of Washington, D.C., in connection with the July 10 robbery of the Chevy Chase Bank located at 1130 Smallwood Drive in Waldorf.
Bethea entered the bank with two other suspects and passed a threatening note to a bank teller, demanding money. The teller complied and the suspects fled. Based on a tip and evidence recovered from the scene, detectives identified Bethea as a suspect and arrested him on Nov. 2. He was charged with armed robbery and remanded to the Charles County Detention Center.
The remaining suspects have not yet been identified.
