LEONARDTOWN, Md. — A motorcyclist sustained injuries in a vehicle collision late Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Bayside Road and Newtowne Neck Road in St. Mary’s County.
The crash was first reported around 4:40 p.m. on June 28, 2025, prompting a multi-agency emergency response. Units arrived to find a motorcycle and a second vehicle involved near the Leonardtown intersection.
Officials on scene confirmed that the motorcyclist was the only person injured and described the injuries as non-life-threatening road rash. One medical unit transported the rider for treatment, while additional EMS crews remained staged as a precaution.
