Prince Frederick, MD – Meet Bethany, an adult, female cat at Calvert Animal Welfare League (CAWL) looking for her forever home.

Bethany is a cat who was left at our door. We think she is about 2 years old and have set her birth date at June 15, 2013.

She was extremely shy at first but is quickly coming out of her shell. She was in a room by herself at first until we were able to get her to a vet to make sure she was a healthy girl. When you would go into the room she would hide in the corner.

One day, I kept entering the room and she started to come out. I then sat down on the bench and to my surprise, she jumped into my lap and was content to stay there as long as I would let her. She is very sweet but would probably do best in a quiet home.

Bethany is litter box trained, spayed and current on her vaccinations.

Adoption hours are Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at CAWL at 1040 Prince Frederick Blvd, Prince Frederick, MD 20678. Contact CAWL at (410) 535-9300 or cawl@comcast.net for more information.
