Waldorf, MD – A 29-second video of a fist fight at Southern Maryland’s only indoor shopping mall has gone viral. It’s not clear when the incident occurred. The video shows at least one mall security guard watching the young male combatants along with other bystanders.
Charles County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Janel Love told The BayNet that while the agency was aware of the video no reports or complaints of the incident at St. Charles Towne Center were received. The video went viral Dec. 28.
Mall management and Brave Public Relations, the firm that handles publicity for the malls managed by Simon Property Group, were also contacted about the incident. Brave had no official comment about the incident or the video as this story was being filed.
