On Tuesday, June 5 at 8:49 a.m., Trooper Shughart responded to a reported burglary at the Elms Beach Educational Center on St. James Church Road in Lexington Park.
Contact was made with the complainant and she advised that someone kicked in the basement door, entered the center and took a gray toolbox with numerous hand tools, 10 packages of Glow Sticks and two cordless telephones with charging units. The property belongs to the St. Mary’s County Public Schools.
No further information is available at this time and the investigation continues.
