LINTHICUM, Md. — A late-night police response to an assault call in Linthicum on Friday, Aug. 22, 2025, led to the arrest of an 18-year-old Millersville man accused of pointing a handgun at a home and fleeing the scene with drugs and weapons.
Officers were called around 10:20 p.m. to the unit block of Hampton Road after a resident reported that a man standing outside with a group aimed a firearm equipped with a green laser at her window. As patrol units arrived, several people scattered. One suspect took off in a gray Tesla, which was quickly stopped by Anne Arundel County Police officers from the Northern District.
Police identified the driver as Ryan Alexander Bray. Inside the vehicle, officers said they found a 9mm Polymer 80 handgun, a loaded .40-caliber Glock handgun with a green laser attachment, 55 grams of suspected marijuana, 15 grams of suspected psilocybin mushrooms, 14 vape cartridges filled with suspected marijuana totaling more than 700 grams, a digital scale, and more than $13,000 in cash.
Bray was taken into custody and faces a slate of firearm, drug, and assault charges, including first-degree assault, possession with intent to distribute, and reckless endangerment.
Court records show he was ordered held without bond and is scheduled for a bail review hearing Monday afternoon in Glen Burnie District Court before Judge Thomas V. Miller III.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident.
