Stereo Snatched

At 3;17 a.m. Nov. 28, TFC Bennett of the Prince Frederick barrack responded to Alton Ct., Prince Frederick, for a theft complaint. Investigation revealed that an unknown culprit was observed tampering with three vehicles.ย  Including a stolen JVC stereo, property loss is estimated at $420.00.

Klepto Caper

At 11:21 a.m. Nov. 23, TPR Stein responded to the Prince Frederick Giant for a shoplifting complaint. Investigation revealed that Courtney Katherine Shreve, 28, of Prince Frederick, was observed by a store employee leaving the premises with merchandise concealed onย  her person.ย  She was charged on a criminal citation with theft under $100 and released.

Pick-Up Truck Vanishes

At 5:20 p.m. Nov. 24, Dep. J. Smith of the Calvert Sheriffโ€™s Office responded to Country Road in Dunkirk for the report of a motor vehicle theft. The victim reported that he had been out of the area for a few days and when he returned, he noticed that his 1991 Ford Truck was missing.

Crown Victoria Abducted

At about 10:20 a.m. Nov. 27, DFC. R. Wilson responded to Calvert Pines Senior Center in Prince Frederick for the report of a motor vehicle theft. The victim stated that her red 1995 Ford Crown Victoria was missing after she had parked and locked it the previous evening at 5:30 p.m.

Tag Stolen

At 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 18, a Maryland trailer tag, #842865G, was stolen from a trailer while it was parked at a residence in the 9500 block of Sharon Avenue.ย  TFC S. Johnson is conducting this investigation.

Window Smashed

On Nov. 24, TFC Whipp of the Prince Frederick barrack responded to Cassell Blvd., Prince Frederick for a destruction of property complaint. Investigation revealed that an unknown culprit had used a bottle to damage the windows to two vehicles.
