PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. — The Calvert County School Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2025–2026 instructional grant cycle, offering up to $3,000 in funding for projects that promote creativity, critical thinking and student engagement across Calvert County Public Schools (CCPS).

Eligible applicants include all CCPS employees and community members working in collaboration with school staff. Proposed projects should align with the foundation’s mission to expand educational opportunities beyond what tax dollars provide by introducing innovative and engaging learning experiences for students.

Important Dates:

  • Application Period: April 1–July 1, 2025
  • Award Notifications: August 2025
  • Grant Project Period: Sept. 1, 2025–July 31, 2026

Applications are available through local school administrators or by emailing Margo Gross at grossm@calvertnet.k12.md.us. Questions about the grant process can also be directed to foundation@calvertnet.k12.md.us.

This grant program is made possible through generous support from community partners committed to educational excellence in Calvert County. Supporting organizations include Bayside Auto Group, Calvert Health, Calvert Education Association, Chesapeake Charities, Constellation Energy, Shore United Bank, Calvert Marine Museum and Educational Systems Federal Credit Union.
