At approximately 6 a.m. on March 9, Calvert County Deputy Christopher Waldron was involved in a single vehicle motor vehicle accident in a marked Sheriff’s Office patrol car unit 132.
Deputy Waldron was traveling on Mystic Lane in Lusby, when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. The vehicle was traveling at a slow rate of speed.
Deputy Waldron was fatigued and based on the investigation it appears that he fell asleep at the wheel.
