The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the identity of the operator of the vehicle pictured. On Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at 2:05 PM, the suspect drove the complainant to the California, Maryland Sheetz and when the victim went inside, the suspect drove away with the victim’s black backpack containing cash and personal items. The victim described the operator as a black male 30 to 40 years of age, known to the victim as “Slim.” The California Sheetz is located at 22711 Three Notch Road.
