UPDATE From The Office of the State Fire Marshal: A passing motorist discovered the fire. It was determined to be accidentally caused by a mechanical malfunction in the boiler. The fire caused significant damage to the restaurant and its contents. Smoke alarm status was present, and activated. Fire Alarm / Sprinkler was not present. Firefighters had the fire under control in 35 Minutes.

Lexington Park, MD – On April 3, 2020 at approximately 7:00 AM police, fire, and rescue responded to Captain Pat’s Seafood at 21901 Three Notch Road in Lexington Park, for a reported structure fire. Once arrived the restaurant was engulfed in flames.
The cause is unknown at this time. Pending Fire Marshal report.
No injuries have been reported.
