On Friday, Dec. 4 at approximately 11:39 p.m., emergency units from Bay District, Lexington Park and Second District responded to 21909 Three Notch Rd. in Lexington Park for an accident involving a car and a motorcycle.
According to witnesses on the scene, the car struck the motorcyclist from behind, forcing the driver off the bike. The motorcycle proceeded to travel a few hundred feet further almost striking a sheriff’s patrol car.
The driver of the motorcycle was treated at the scene and transported to the hospital. The other driver signed a refusal and was not transported.
This accident remains under investigation.
